Individual Machine Service

We come to you to service your sewing machine in your home.

per machine service cost + $0.70 per mile

For regular maintenance on domestic machines that can currently stitch.

Not suitable for cabinets or frozen machines needing restoration services.

$20 bench fee required to be paid ahead of service, and will be credited toward the service cost.

Not for commercial/industrial machines.

Groups and Retreats

Receive a $10 discount on each mobile sewing machine service for groups of 5 or more domestic machines.

FAQs about Mobile Sewing Machine Service

Do you accept reservations?

Yes, we accept reservations, and require 48 hours notice for mobile service for individual or group rates. Please email us to work out details.

What time are appointments available?

We typically schedule on weekdays for service appointments between 9am – 4pm, and other times by special request. Traffic in the metro Atlanta area can be unpredictable and will affect travel plans.

Is there a limit on the number of machines for groups?

Yes, we require an allotment of 45 minutes per machine, with a 30-minute break every 4 hours. For a 6-hour group retreat, we could schedule 7 service appointments with one 30-minute break. For a 9-hour group retreat, we could schedule 10 service appointments with two 30-minute breaks.

Can the group discount apply to any other services?

If a member of the group wants a restoration service (for frozen or non-running machines), repair services, or regular machine service for additional machines beyond the established group limit , we will extend the $10 discount for each machine, with the condition that the machine handoff happens at the retreat or group event. We will also offer a $50 discount on a regular repainting service for any machine handed off at the group event.

The machine owner is responsible for arranging the return handoff within a 10-mile radius of zip code 30114, or paying mileage for the return handoff outside that area.

How will group members sign up for sewing machine service?

This is at the group’s discretion. Once the organizer coordinates with us on the event details, we can either set up a sign-up form for attendees to sign up for a specific time slot, or we can treat the order on a “first-come, first-served” basis. If you have attendees with specific arrival/departure requirements, we recommend the sign-up form method to accomodate specific timeslots.

What happens if the group doesn’t meet the required minimum?

If your group doesn’t get a minimum of 5 machines signed up for service at the group event, the organizers can either 1) cancel the event with 48 hours notice or 2) continue with the group service appointments but without the $10 discount for each machine. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will forefeit the $50 booking fee.

What payments do you accept?

Booking and bench fees must be paid by credit card before service is rendered. After service, the remainder of the fee can be paid by cash or major credit card.
